Chesterfield (July 19-23, 2010)
The Chesterfield Soccer School will offer small-sided, enclosed soccer arenas. Each arena will facilitate a 4 vs. 4 continuous soccer game played without goalkeepers. These games will encourage fast-flowing play, with an emphasis on decision making, depth, width, vision, technical ability, movement, fitness and composure. The 20 minute game is non-stop: when a ball leaves the arena a new one is tossed in from mid-field. Your child’s skills and technique will improve dramatically.
All participating goalkeeping students will have specialized technical training in the morning and functional tactical training in the afternoon. Goalkeepers will be trained in all aspects of goalkeeping. They will participate in all team-oriented games. The age of each goalkeeper will be considered in each session.
